ZUS Coffee taps American Anna DeBeer as import for 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference

American volleyball player Anna DeBeer will join the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles for the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference, marking her first experience in Philippine volleyball. The team officially announced her signing on September 19.

DeBeer had an impressive college career with the Louisville Cardinals in the US NCAA, helping lead the team to two national championship appearances in 2022 and 2024, though they finished as runners-up both times.

She recently played professionally for Indy Ignite in Major League Volleyball, where she led the team to a semifinal upset against top-seeded Omaha before losing to the eventual champions, Orlando Valkyries, in a five-set match.

The Thunderbelles struggled in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference, finishing without a win in eight games. With DeBeer’s addition, the team hopes to improve its performance alongside players like Thea Gagate, Jovelyn Gonzaga, Chinnie Arroyo, and Fiolla Ceballos.
