MFK Púchov is a Slovak football club from the town of Púchov, currently playing in the 2. liga, the second tier of Slovak football. The club was founded and plays its home matches at the Mestský štadión Púchov. Historically, Púchov enjoyed a memorable spell in the top-flight Slovak Super Liga in the early 2000s, even qualifying for the UEFA Cup in 2003 after a third-place finish, where they faced French giants Olympique de Marseille. That period, backed by the Matador rubber company, was the club's golden era.
