Joinville Esporte Clube, known as Joinville SC or JEC, is a Brazilian football club from the city of Joinville in the state of Santa Catarina. The club currently competes in the Brazilian Série D, the fourth tier of the national league system. Founded in 1976, Joinville plays its home matches at the Arena Joinville. The team's colors are white, red, and black. While now in the lower national divisions, Joinville has a proud history, most notably being crowned champions of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B in 2014, earning promotion to the top flight for the 2015 season.
